The Department of Civil Engineering has been established in 2011 at Ipcowala college of Engineering and Technology offers four year's degree program to under graduate students and 3 year's diploma program to 10th /12th Pass students. Civil Engineering is considered to be the most versatile branch among all the engineering branches. The planning, design, construction and maintenance of our civilization included by civil engineering The major subdivisions of civil engineering are structural, geotechnical, environmental, sanitary, water resources and transportation engineering.

We are here to provide quality education to prepare nationally competitive undergraduate students for a successful career in civil engineering; to provide advanced skills and knowledge in state-of-the-art research and design in subareas of civil engineering.

The department has highly qualified faculties, well equipped workshop and with the modern instruments, machinery and experimental set ups in laboratories. These laboratories go through upgrading and development so as to be consistent and compatible with professional field requirements.
